I am really pleased to be starting this feature again in 2009 – the FMB  Flickr Group has 64 members and we have been lucky to have  had a stream of interesting  uploads  since its creation :)

Fuellers if you take pictures and would like to share them with the rest of the community here on Fuelmyblog – head over the the FMB Flickr Group now!

I always enjoy looking at your latest uploads and might just pick yours for this week’s selection!

Next week I would love to put a photo collage with a theme of snow and frost.

I know it is cold and it might be tricky to take a picture with gloves on but the result should be worth it!

In the meantime I have the pleasure to show the latest Fuellers Have Talent for this week:

My cockeral wot I made from Daddy P, Follow the arrow from Crpitt and Penfold with Melting frost 2

We were going to have a special pre-launch party with nibbles and bubbles but clever Penfold took us all by surprise  tonight and delivered the beautiful new look for our FMB blog!

We love it! Penfold has done a marvellous job with the make-over, he is clearly as clever  as it is written on the box.

If you too would like a blog make-over or advice on optimizing your blog a visit to Gtzero is a must!

In the meantime leave your feedback in the usual box.

Atomic-dogmAHiya, Tango here.

I’ve been kidnapped and canoodled (sigh) but I’m back …

I’m working on a new project (details to follow) so I’ve spent the last few weeks in and out of WordPress, learning CSS and PHP and all kinds of groovy stuff. I can’t quite keep up with Penfold’s turbo learning curve but I’m having fun nonetheless.

I started Atomic-dogmA years ago on Blogger mostly because it seemed like the easiest solution for getting started. After playing around with WordPress I can see why so many people have decided to make the switch. Fracas wrote a great summary of the pros and cons of the popular solutions in her comment to one of my earlier posts. I quite like WordPress and I doubt I’ll ever go back.

But today Blogger restored my faith in Google. I needed a distraction from work so I started tweaking Atomic-dogmA and discovered Blogger’s new blogroll widget. Hooray for Google yet again!

Since it reads directly from my Google RSS reader I no longer have to maintain a separate list for my blogroll. And the snippets from each post let me keep up on the gossip in my bloggy bubble. For example, today I know that Penfold’s Emporium just released a new header (theme to follow) and launched GTZero.com, a groovy portfolio site for the talented brotherly duo. Nursemyra’s patients at the Gimcrack (PG warning) are behaving uncharacteristically well, DaddyP (uncharacteristically serious … ooooh right, it’s Sunday) is sadly saying goodbye to a remarkable woman, and Daisyfae’s boy is learning uncharacteristic life lessons from the backwoods pizza parlor.

So WordPress may be loverly, but I haven’t given up entirely on Blogger and Google’s clever ways to dominate the world’s data.

Okay, enough gossip. Back to work!
