First the most important news. Next week from Sunday to Friday I will be in London. I picked up an emergency trip from a co-worker who got very sick. So this is very last minute but I will be in London and have Wednesday completely free. Meetup?
Okay on to my purpose here. I am having a tough time keeping up with all my blogs and so my contributions here at FuelMyBlog have been lacking. I apologize about that. A couple of weeks ago before the 4th of July I suggested the theme of Red White and Blue. Daddy Papersurfer stepped right up and submitted this photo.
He certainly gets some mileage out of that photo.

I’d like to do more with these weekly challenges. But let me first ask? Does anyone want to do a weekly photo challenge? Is there something photography related that you’d like to do instead.
Here is the theme for the coming week. Water. I went paddling with a group from Rhode Island last Saturday and got some nice water shots. Here is mine.

Seems like Toys have sparked a nerve with folks because we had a bunch of comments on last week’s post as well as some great submissions.
My favorite however was from Kevin. And since the man is getting older (Happy Belated Birthday) And is clinging to his youth I thought I’d feature his very nice shot of a firetruck.

This week we had a little better turn out than last week. There were 3 participants. And this weeks standout photo was from a newcomer with Flickr Name of aragornsbeard. I just loved the composition of this landscape photo.
Spending the long weekend with my family got me to thinking about this week’s challenge. I take pictures of my little girl every day so that I can make a photo album of her first year and because I love taking photos of the little cutie. I hope that everyone got the chance to spend some time with their family this weekend or will be spending time with family soon.
