DADDY PAPERSURFER – THE MOVIE

The final negotiations are almost complete with Fuelmyblog for the making of ‘Daddy Papersurfer the Movie’..

Obviously, I now need to hold auditions for the cast of thousands.

To help me whittle down the many hopefuls, can you please complete the form below.

1. Are you a goddess? [If the answer is no, it’s hardly worth continuing quite frankly – I suppose you could pretend].
2. Do you blog at least once a week?
3. How much experience have you had as a thespian [spell check …. mmm … fine.]
4. Do you expect to live for several more years? [in case there are delays].
5. Do you get intimidated by the rich and the powerful? [I live in hope which is quite remarkable considering the life I’ve had – if you want to know more, you’ll have to wait until the movie is finished].

I shall select a handful of the bloggers who provide witty, cogent and correctly spelt answers to these questions, to move onto the next stage which will be a personal interview with me. There is a casting couch of course but it’ll only be available for me I’m afraid as I get very tired, very quickly nowadays.

The best of luck.

    No.
    Yes.
    None.
    Yes.
    No.

I found it very hard to be witty in answering your questions, so I went for artistic symmetry instead.

    (I can tapdance. A bit.)

I will need my own dressing room, fresh flowers every day and Donny to bring me my Earl Grey…. that will do for starters Thank you

@Somnambulist Normal sized taps or really really big ones?

@Sylvie I reckon you’d be in with a chance though - I had penned you in as the exotic and mysterious gypsy who was always warning me of an impending disaster …….

@70’s Divas are not encouraged - they disturb my concentration whilst waiting for the muse to inspire me in my performance - the word Oscar comes to mind …. mmmmmmmm

@DP: haaaa?…I can’t see why but I am prepared to give it a try…anything for a chance to climb on the fame ladder I guess…(anyone else you have in mind for that role…just wondering…)

Surprisingly a lot of people warn me about impending disasters so you’ll be up against a lot of competition including Uma of course ….

I suppose now that I said I was coming back to work, you think it’s ok to pile all of this on me now? Forms? Paperwork? Like you ever do anything with paperwork other than drop it.

Sheesh. I think I need a raise. (Or maybe another surgery to let me off the hook here…)

    {Dear 70s and Sylvie, this just goes to show how he can’t be left alone for even a moment. Do you think he harmed something while doing that smooshing for Olga? It’s a possibility I suppose…}

    1. I’m not a goddess, but I’m willing to pretend to be one. I think it’s called ‘acting’.

    2. Oh yes, I blog five times a week. I’m very regular. In more ways than one (sure you wanted to know that).

    3. I once played the role of ‘man accused of sexual harassment’ in the drama ‘internal recruitment interviews’ while working as a temp for a major multinational. I also provided the English language voice-over for a Russian short film on the mineral deposits of Lake Kuchuk (in Siberia. I mean the lake is in Siberia - I wasn’t).

    4. Indeed. I haven’t had a day off sick (or even ’sick’) from work for three years, so I’m in fine fettle.

    5. No, because who would want to find themselves intimidating?

You should see my Nora Desmond imitation.

    4. Do you expect to live for several more years? [in case there are delays].

If I follow my Dad’s genetics & his proclaimed prophecy, I too shall be shot by a jealous lover at 107 years of age.

    5. Do you get intimidated by the rich and the powerful? [I live in hope which is quite remarkable considering the life I’ve had – if you want to know more, you’ll have to wait until the movie is finished]
