We are teaming up again with TSheets for another fun competition. This time, the challenge is simple, what does the blogosphere do at 5:10pm? The most fun and creative entry will win a new iPhone 3G..How’s about that then!
Why 5:10pm? Here, straight from the TSheets blog is their reasoning:-
“5:10pm is possibly one of the most celebrated times all around the world. You’re free. Great God almighty, I’m free at last! Granted, at 10 after 5 you may or may not be calling it a day, but by most standards you’re free to go if you so choose. And this is exactly what we want to hear about. How do you rock it at 5:10? What’s the coolest, craziest, most creative thing you do at 5:10? Tell us all about it…maybe you load up the iPod and have your favorite DJ slam your subway ride home? Is 5:10 the time that you slip the wingtips under the desk, strap your Specialized shoes on and blaze through commuter traffic all the while chasing Lance Armstrong along the Champs-Élysées? Send us as many entries as you’d like. Talk to us!”
How to enter:-
Take a picture, shoot a video and write a post (without picture or video should you prefer), the picture or video needs to be what you do or did at 5:10pm..You are not restricted to entering once, so be creative..
Please make sure to leave a link to the blog post in the comments here or on their work of art there..
On July 24th Matt Rissell, (CEO of TSheets.com), will announce the iPhone winners during the award ceremony with Brandon Zehm, CTO of TSheets.com.

It sounds great. However, what about us merry old souls who work erratically: evenings, weekends and all around the clock and calendar? Then again, I could fake a 9-to-5 existence…I used to be part of that stable(?) crowd. Thanks.

You could always take a shot of what’s going on at work while the rest of the world in that zone’s going home. I bet there’s a bunch of ironic shots you could get that are really unique to what your experiencing.

@Michael: The question is more what do you do at 5.10pm..It could be anything, going for a run, getting the train turning off the laptop, making a phone call..!

I merely and incorrectly assumed that “5:10 PM” was to be limited to work-related themes. Being that it’s 5:10 PM in general, that obviously allows for a wider range of possibilities. This will certainly be fun. (By the way, since it’s summer here in New York City, I’m apt to take mundane yet mind-enhancing cold showers at around 5:10 PM.) Thanks.

hi, i have a blog post on what I do on a 5:10pm. I don’t do this everyday but I ask a good friend of mine to have my pic taken for this contest. I will send also post of the other activities I do on a 5:10 pm like waiting for a taxi, walking to the gym or punching my daily time card in the bundy clock.thanks.hope I can my hands on one of the 3G Iphone.

I was going to join in, but the requirement to link to your tsheets.com site with a specific keyword is a little too spammy for me I’m afraid. Very similar to what a self catering establishment did in West Cork. Might as well call it pay per post and be done with it. Sorry.
Donncha - It is not a pay per post, we are not paid for it, nor are you, they are giving away a cool bit of kit and of course, they want to at least get a link back for it.
I suggested they didn’t ask for keyword links but as we are doing it for free and after all it is fun, I left it in there (we are using their text), a simple link to their site to at least show your readers what on Earth you are talking about (in my eyes) is fine.
