As blogs get ever more popular, we all have tendency of wanting to comment on something we have read, but sometimes we may get stopped in our tracks by several annoying things that a blog owner as done to hinder us from leaving our point of few, so here are just a few things that can put people off from leaving a comment on a blog.

  1. Signing Up To Leave a Comment
This is really annoying, open your blog up to the world, and get more people to interact with you.
  2. Unreadable Captcha
How many times do you have to try and read a badly formed Captcha just to make a simple comment
  3. A Google Account
Now this really is a pain, a blogger using the google blogging system, hasn’t use the option for anyone to leave a comment and after reading an interesting post you are confronted with Google Accounts only …. WHY!!!!
  4. You Never Respond to Comments
It’s common courtesy to reply to comments made on your blog, if someone spoke to you would you ignore them as well!
  5. You Never Comment On Others Blogs
If you want people to know where you have a blog then comment on their blog, but leave well written and on topic comments.

So there are five reasons, I know there are more, but come on, I’m not going to do all the work and after all, it’s your turn to comment ;)

Now I’ve always been a bit of a Twitterholic and since the addition to lists on Twitter I thought it was about time that I used the list system to create a little TwitterLuv to my fellow FuelMyBloggers.

For those wondering what a Twitter list is, it’s simply a way of adding twitters in certain categories etc to a list that is self updating and can be followed as you would follow a twitter user, but, it will follow the list instead.

FuelMyBlog Twitter ListAs you can see I’ve started building the list up already, so all I need now is for everyone using FuelMyBlog and Twitter to comment on this post with their Twitter name, but please only if you are a member of FuelMyBlog. I will then add you to the list ;)

You can find the Twitter List at @rembeatz/fuelmyblog and I will follow those of you that I add to the list ;)

So there you have it, simples ;)

Blimey, it only seems like a few months ago that the Christmas decorations where been packed up for another year and put up in the loft, out of sight out of mind!

But lo and behold, in only a few weeks we will be performing those Christmas tasks yet again, you know the ones, eat more than your stomach can possible hold, sleep it off for a couple of hours and then get totally sloshed with the same amount of alcohol that you would probably drink in the year.

Ok, this does make me sound a bit of a miserable so and so, but don’t get me wrong I do love Christmas, it’s the time when all the family meets up and gets on with each other fro a couple of days in the year before vanishing again, never to be seen again until next Christmas, but, probably the best thing about Christmas is the presents, the fun of seeing what Santa has left you under the tree.

Don’t go telling me there is no Santa, after all who do you think brings the presents and puts them there!

And at Christmas time you always seem to remember those find memories of a childhood Christmas and all the excitement it used to bring.

So, what’s your fondest memory of a Christmas gone by?

Hey everyone, before I start, yes I know it has been a while since I posted anything here at FMB, but I’ve been rushed off my feet lately with a stack of project that I am running, so I would like to take the opportunity to bring a bit of Linky Love and recognition to fellow bloggers here at FMB ;)

Recently over on my Blazing Minds blog I have started a news series of Blogger Interviews, where I give a blogger a selection of questions to answer and then I post the results on the blog as an interview, such as the ones I have already done with Justin Germino from Dragon Blogger and  Victoria Pires from Glowstars.

So if anyone is interested in a “Blogger Interview” then please stop by my Contact Me page on Blazing Minds and let me know.
