a la Van Gogh

35 letters,  drawings and paintings related to his correspondence will be exhibited at the Royal Academy in London from the 23rd to the 18th of April…

Can you imagine if Van Gogh had had access to blogging, twitter and facebook?

Btw, this picture was one of my first oil painting back in my late teens…

I tried Van Gogh’s style when I was young – a bit too expensive on paint though.

I’ve often thought about Da Vinci having access to modern technology ……

[oooo - just had an idea *ting* - #iffamouspeopletwittered "F*** u bro. BTW just cut off my ear! lol" - rushes off to Twitter land ..... whoooosh]

I was in London yesterday with some time to spare too… drat I was a day early.

Van Gogh would be one awesome blogger .. I would also love to see Dante Gabriel Rossetti on line too with the Brotherhood.

@70s: FMB wouldn’t have the medical coverage to protect itself if DP were to try ‘Gingernut Skull with a burning cigarette’.

The most amazing, crazed, ingenious minds it seems aren’t usually interested in saying much online. I think he’d have one helluva photoblog though.

PS I don’t mean you all aren’t genius, it’s just my experience with my few ingenius friends I know … they have no interest in blogging.

@70s ~ If that means “on the mark”, thanks. If that means I’m one of the birds in the picture, I just spent five hours trying to figure which one I’d be.

@Karen ~ Major, the ‘graphic’ bloggers are easy to get lost in visually.

@Damien ~ Do your friends have Wyle E. Coyote on the treehouse door, and how many gumballs do you want to disclose the secret handshake?
