Apr 14

Welcome to the April 14, 2009 edition of the fuelmyblog carnival. My hope is that this promotes the best posts of we Fuellers. I also hope it draws traffic to the Fuel blog and gains us more members.

Next carnival I am trying something new and I hope you all will support it by submitting something. This coming carnival index should be a more highly searched and ranked post because it will have a specific theme. In my own blogging, I have learned that posts with specific purposes and keywords have more potential to be accessed and read.

Submissions for our next carnival should be about, in some general or specific way, school and education. You can write about something as academic as quadratic equations and how they changed your life or how much you loved to eat something called “mystery meat” in your 4th grade cafeteria. You can write about a political angle such as the new US Sec of Ed’s proposal to make school 6 days a week and 11 months a year or you can write about how hot your junior year English teacher was … makes no difference. It just has to relate to school and education. Fracas? ;) Let’s give this “theme” strategy a try shall we?

As for today’s carnival, here are the submissions that made it in. The call for submissions was again vague because I haven’t tried a theme up to now.  These folks submitted some quality stuff of value though. Check it out! -Damien Riley, guest blogger for Fuelmyblog
