As our more loyal readers will have seen, we have some nice banners to the right promoting events we believe in, one of which is the Future of Social Media. Last time I went to the Future of Social Media alone, this time I have been granted an opportunity to take someone with me.
The FOSM has some really great speakers and if I am honest, it was the most worthwhile day I spent in any conference by miles last year. The event takes a look at what is happening around us from a PR, Blogging and Corporate viewpoint.
We (myself and the guys behind FOSM) discussed how we’d give the ticket away and which way would be fairer to all.
In the past we have run blogging competitions and asked for links etc, not this time, this time we are all busy, we are all working hard to make ends meet, so we opted for a simple way to win. Just sign up to the UBM tech newsletter (UBM are the people behind the conferences like internet world and this one) and one person will be selected by the gang over at UBM to win the ticket worth £575 plus the added bonus of going with me..well, maybe not a bonus at all!
We can also have drinks after, probably a tweet-up.

I have never had a chance to goto a technical conference like that, but I think it would be a very cool opportunity. I would sign up, but unfortunately, I don’t think I could make it across the pond right now. It would be a very cool experience though…
