So, in just a few days it is the biggest party night on the planet, we thought it is only right that we open the doors and have a party here too!
How to get involved, well, it is a fancy dress party with a 70’s theme. All you need to do is get dressed up (we will post photos on the 31st if you send them to us!) and join in the fun. We have laid on some vol-au-vents and cheese and pineapple on sticks.
Comments will be open all night and hope to see you when you celebrate. We have a DJ too so let us know what songs we should play at midnight.

At the moment I’m wearing my costume, and will do so throughout now until the 1st.
Since this is a 70s themed party, I’ve chosen the icon of all costuming possible that was introduced in that era.

Olga – In true Olga fashion (supportive) I knew I could count on you to remember that. Oddly… I can’t find those entries in the archives. Hmmm. Perhaps DP’s been fossicking a bit here at the fuelblog, and broke something? He might have to be taught a lesson for that…

Memo:
Please be advised that D. Papersurfer, ARSE, will require the fulfillment of certain terms related to his attendance of one certain anticipated party of a 70’s nature, to be held on December 31st of 2008, at the location of one Fuelmyblog blog, hosted by Kevin and Sylvie Dixie.
The afore-mentioned individual has learned of the presence of what is known as a ‘DJ’ and has thus, insisted that at least 37 1/2% of the celebratory event consist of the music of two certain groups he considers legendary, namely, ABBA (in particular… ‘Fernando’) and The Bay City Rollers (in particular, ‘Saturday Night’).
Acknowledging the party is not being held on Saturday Night, Mr. Papersurfer believes that the party will simply not be a party should said music not be present.
Please govern yourselves accordingly.
In addition, Mr. Papersurfer has objected to all plans for the device known as a ‘can opener’ to be present and requests the employ of a security agent (preferably Uma Thurman in her role from the ‘Kill Bill’ series) to be arranged for by the party hosts. This security agent should be prepared to refuse entrance to party-goers (such as Olga, the Traveling Bra and Fracas) in the event any can-openers are found during the obligatory search-the-guests phase upon arrival.
