I woke this morning to find a great festive avatar (an avatar is an image) sat in my inbox, designed for me by Olga The Traveling Bra.
I thought it would look great to see the front page of blogs on Fuelmyblog covered in festive avatars!
So here it is, for the sake of this competition, I am going to call a category on the homepage a team..The team to have five avatars on the homepage all with santa hats in a row at 8pm Tuesday night(GMT) will each win $20 of Amazon vouchers. If more than one team have 5-in-a-row, we’ll roll it over to Wednesday and keep rolling it over until just one team have 5-in-a-row!
(If no-one has won by Sunday at 8pm (GMT), we’ll award the vouchers to the team with the most collective “fuels”.
Make Sense? – If not, leave a comment, we’ll try and answer!
You’ll need to fuel your “team” mates and get them to change their avatars, and maybe plan a “team” strategy!
We’ll send out FMB stickers to all those that take part (and want some!).

Are we using Gravitars on the forum? The FMB homepage uses avatars hosted at FMB.
you need to update your account, the forum and account are different sources of avatars

Dear Rev .. when you go to your account next to the bit where you click on to see who has voted for you there is an ‘edit’ button. Click that and change the photo there.. it works for the home page .. hope that helps

Ahh, but Lord Likely… unless your dear friend (that chap who goes by the moniker of ‘Fanton’) adorns the ‘gaup’ avatar with the esteemed red velvet hat, the members in the ‘entertainment’ category may have to seek him out to tar and feather certain body parts that may not appreciate a tarring.
(All said in the effort to win the competition for the good folks in the entertainment category of course… not because I happen to take any particular pleasure in tarring certain body parts…)

Kevin said five in a row instead of six (though the top blogs feature shows six and not five)… and since the avatars change places randomly, it’s impossible to prove that the personals had five in a row before the entertainments did. And while you now have six, there is no proof that 8pm GMT Tuesday, that personals had five in a row and not entertainments which would mean that the whole thing should be rolled over to Sunday night. There was too much room for error, and while I see Penfold said he has a screen cap… a screen cap doesn’t prove time AND date so we’d have to take his word for it.
All told, any reasonable person would agree it should be rolled over to Sunday to avoid
the cauldron/voodoo dollconfusion amongst we fools.See… he really is going to need rum in his toddy…
