Week nine of The Friday Five – This week the topic is Junk or Healthy Food – yum!

What is it?

Simply answer the five questions below, either copy and answer on your blog linking back to here (leave the link in the comments) or just answer in the comments – up to you, no pressure and no link love required from us :)

Usual disclaimer – all questions are random rubbish.

As I said last week, 50 comments means one person gets a load of stickers, a Tshirt etc – we had 53 but that amount included some fillers! Anyhow..!

  1. Hamburger and large fries or Soup and fresh crusty bread ?
  2. Pizza and salad bar or Freshly grilled fillet of fish and Salad?
  3. Coca Cola or Mug of tea?
  4. KFC bargain bucket or a Picnic?
  5. Fried Eggs and Bacon or Toast and Jam?

Yeah it’s lame but you have to think about it before revealing yourself ;)

I am off to eat my eggs and bacon, am starving now!

    1. Hamburger and large fries – once a year and quickly regretted. Soup and fresh crusty bread – several times a week, home made and full of goodness and wind generation.
    2. Pizza and salad bar. I don’t do fish – except for kippers, mackerel coated in oat flakes and lightly fried, tinned sardines, tuna, shark fillets and FISH & CHIPS!!!!
    3. Coca Cola – occasionally [diet of course]. Mug of tea? – only about a 1,000,000 a day.
    4. KFC bargain bucket – never ever ever! Picnic – sometimes – or perhaps a Mars Bar or a KitKat.
    5. Fried Eggs and Bacon or Toast and Jam? Why is there an ‘or’ in this question? – silly boy.

3.I do not like Cola or other sweet beverages like that with bubbles.I allways drink a mug of tea in winter after dinner.Wine is the perfect drink to go with a good meal.It took me some time to undertsand it but wines are fascinating, one of my recent interests.
    4. KFC=fried chicken stuff, right?I hardly eat “labelled” food.Probably I went to MacDonalds no more than 6 times in my life!!!I prefer good old “tascas” – DP knows what I mean!PicNic!
    5.Toast and jam.I do not like bakon…but I like eggs…

    1. Definitely Soup and fresh crusty bread. Hamburgers are on the list of things I eat when I have to and not much else.
    2. Again, same reason as #1 for me and Pizza. I choose Freshly grilled fillet of fish and Salad.
    3. Neither. I do like tea, but it gives me heartburn. I have no idea why I liked coke as a young fraccer. It’s too sweet and all that fizz is nasty on the tummy.
    4. Depends what’s in the picnic? I don’t mind KC once in a while. I wish they still had the extra tasty crispy here though. The chicken bowl is a good idea. It saved me a few times while traveling.
    5. Toast and Jam. A fresh, whole grain bread with all the seeds and bits in it is the best! If you gave me a couple of pieces of crisp bacon on the side, that would be perfect. I can leave the eggs anytime. Unless it’s a properly made egg salad for a sandwhich. That, I don’t mind.

Uh oh Kevin. Since you have slighted the Canadians, and I’m the first to whine about it point it out, surely that means you’ll be awarding the prizes to me in an attempt to make up. I may share them with other Canadians… if they also whine about it speak up. We’ll see. ;-) sometimes I can be a tad selfish, so I’d best not promise too much.
