Hello FMB readers and writers. It’s Damien, your friendly neighborhood guest blogger, back with some exciting news about your blog carnival.
At the suggestion of Sylvie Dixie, I have launched the FuelMyBlog Blog Carnival. Recently I wrote a post about them (refresh your mind here!) and since doing so I have heard a lot of interest in such an undertaking. It is basically a “link-love” post but a little more organized than that. My hope is that on a regular basis, this blog can showcase the talent of all you guys out there. At the same time, it gives you a chance to support FMB in thanks for the great traffic we get through them.
Now that the trivialities are dispensed with, let’s get on with it. I have started the carnival and you can submit your posts through our FMB Blog Carnival page. On with the experiment! If you have any questions, you can feel free to leave them in the comments. Thank you Sylvie for having carnival vision, I hope this goes well for everybody.

Do Carnivals go on for ages? I’m just about to swap platforms [the train is terribly late at the one I'm on at the moment] so don’t want to do anything until the new one is up and running with all my old, brilliant and incisive posts securely in place.
This one goes on till the 29th October, would that work with your schedule?
I’ve submitted my latest post to the carnival. It’s a story that needs to be shared with all. I’m sure once you read it, you’ll all agree.
Googling his way back to health… sort of
I posted the widget on my palavras-cruzadas.blogspot.That’s my blog for word stuff.Looking forward to read FMB posts to teh Carnival!;-)
@Sylvie I’ve got a schedule? ……. I’m in the hands of Penfold at the moment …… I suppose I’ll have to wait a few days and see what happens ……… still don’t quite understand the concept though. It won’t be long until I can have ‘official’ senior moments ….. which will be a relief ……
@Daddy Papasurfer: The concept is that you submit a post from your blog and we feature a link and a few remarks on it here. One carnival usually contains 10-30 links and blurbs such as this. And yes, they do repeat so you try for edition 2 or 3 after you get your platform migrated. Hope to see an entry from you!
@fracas: That is very exciting! I look forward to reading it.
@belinha: Great to see you in the carnival!
The entries look excellent so far. The deadline is October 29th so there is still time.
Announcement to all FMB readers and bloggers: The FuelMyBlog Carnival is publishing within a week and you have time to get in under the wire! If you have a cool post you want to broadcast or if you want to write a new one, go for it. Click to submit your post to the Blog Carnival. Deadline: October 29, 2008.
Could somebody explain in simple English – or simple French for that matter – what exactly a carnival is, how it works and how one participates? And what happens then?
Thanks
