Our friends at coComment have integrated their super cool commenting facility on this blog. You may now see the little blue CO under the comments box. We’ll soon be integrating it in the forums.
What is it?
coComment helps you to track all the comments you leave on blogs and websites across the web into a single user account. Once you create your free account and download the application, it installs an extension in your browser which then tracks all the comments you leave by copying them straight into your account. From that point, every time someone adds to a comment string in which you’re participating, it alerts you: the coComment icon in your browser turns red.
I want one!
If you have a blog or website, integrating coComment into your existing comments system means your site’s comments reach the coComment audience and offers the potential to increase traffic. If you have a site without comments, coComment can also provide you with a fully outsourced comments facility. The ‘Tools >> Tools for site owners’ section of your coComment user account can create the code you need; you simply enter your url and coComment will produce it for you. Alternatively, you can request tailor-made code directly from coComment (integration@cocomment.com mentioning FuelMyBlog).
Where do I go to get an account?
Firstly, you’ll need to download the extension for your browser, we have the two most popular below:-
To get your own free coComment account, simply follow the links on the landing page after installing the browser add-on or go to www.coComment.com and register, it takes just a few minutes.
Once set up, add your blog to the Fuelmyblog group here.
See you on the other side

Been using the CoComment Firefox extension for a while – it really helps keep track of all those disparate conversations you are having on 25 different websites. Good to see it introduced here, nice one.
This won’t increase the time I spend on the Interweave – will it? – tee hee
Testing testing testing – I wonder what I’m testing exactly – I’m just doing as I’m told – as usual
I like the interaction with CoComment, it could be very useful once I get the name of my blog showing correctly
Great to have Fuel My Blog as an integration partner — welcome on board!!
Now this is useful for me to keep a track of things
Thanks for te heads up.
Hello Karen, I saw you make a comment so I thought I’d come and make a comment which is soooooo against my nature ……. oh no, the press is here!

@Daddy Papersurfer: Right back at ya LoL
But will it make me bigger…down there? I’m still having trouble with that extension thingy I got from Fracas’s blog last time.
The instructions say to tie a velcro tab off…YOU CAN’T DO THAT!
[...] was happily reading away at KevinD’s post over at FuelMyBlog about coComment, which adds a special integrated system into your blog comments system, so I stopped on by [...]
John, that extension thingy you got from my blog was for feet. That is how you’re using it, isn’t it? Didn’t you notice it was part of my “Red SHOE Diaries” posts?
Gee. I guess you DO have to spell everything out for some people.
