As one of the FuelMyBlog resident Photo enthusiasts I figure that it is about time that I created a Flickr group for members of FuelMyBlog. Here are some of the rules for participation.
1. Your blog must be listed with FuelMyBlog and the FMB widget displayed on your blog.
2. Only two photos are allowed to be submitted per day, so pick your best!
3. Tag photos with “fuelmyblog”
4. Geotag your photos, FuelMyBlog is worldwide and we want to see where those photos are coming from.
5. You must be (or want to be) a FuelMyBlog Rock Star!
6. Have fun and be creative.
Photo submissions are not moderated at this time, this is subject to change is necessary. Photos should be in good taste and fairly suitable for viewing by a wide audience. If your photo couldn’t be used for your FMB avatar then it wouldn’t be suitable here. Moderators can and will remove inappropriate photos.

I have a Flickr account that I haven’t done anything with in two years…seriously. I signed up for this, and now it will give me an incentive to upload mew pix there.

Flickr is a photo sharing site that you can use to upload images and then from there post them to your blog. I have a Flickr widget on my http://www.benspark.com blog at the top before the content.

…what’s a widget? I’m used to a widget bein’ a triangle piece of wood you use to shove a door open.
Everyone keeps callin’ a piece of html code that pulls script from somewhere else…a widget.
I don’t get it. Help me here, Drew…just realize…there’s also probably other people needing to know this too who’re handicapped.

A widget is a piece of code that someone creates to enhance the blogging experience. Widgets can push information to your site, help you gather information or show your readers information.
For instance, my photo-a-day widget pushes my photo-a-day photos to websites so there is fresh content for readers every single day.
So basically a widget is a piece of code that is an enhancement to a blog.
